এখনও পর্যন্ত দশ জনের মৃত দেহ উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে। যুদ্ধকালীন পরিস্থিতিতে চলছে উদ্ধারকাজ। নিখোঁজ রয়েছে প্রায় ১৫০ জন। 

উত্তরাখণ্ডের প্রাকৃতিক বিপর্যয়ের কারণে মৃতদের পরিবার পিছু ২ লক্ষ টাকা দেওয়া হবে। আহতদের দেওয়া হবে ৫০ হাজার টাকা। জানিয়েছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রীর। 

PM @narendramodi has approved an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh each from PMNRF for the next of kin of those who have lost their lives due to the tragic avalanche caused by a Glacier breach in Chamoli, Uttrakhand. Rs. 50,000 would be given to those seriously injured.

A Border Roads Organisation bridge near Malari ahead of Joshimath area has been washed away by floods. Director General BRO Lt Gen Rajeev Chaudhary has instructed officials to reinstate it at the earliest possible. Necessary stores & personnel are being moved to the location.
